Fantastic Edwardian corner cabinet made from mahogany in wonderful condition complete with 2 working keys. The cabinet separates into 2 sections which allows for easy transportation in and around your home. Its top section has a wonderful crossband frieze with marquetry inlay in the centre and a astragal glazed doors. Inside there are 2 glass shelves which can be removed if needed. The base has a matching frieze with satin would decoration to the door and sides with an inlay shell like motif in the centre, evocative of the period. Inside is a fixed mahogany shelf and it stands on bracket feet. A fantastic cabinet of compact proportion with a great warm mahogany colouring and amazing patina. A super period cabinet that will display your books or treasures with style, the perfect addition to any corner.
