Edwardian Mahogany Bow-Fronted Display Cabinet
This lovely antique cabinet looks to date from the first part of the twentieth century. It is bow-fronted, with a single door that opens to reveal a fabric-lined interior with three fixed shelves. The cabinet is supported on cabriole legs terminating in ball and claw feet. It retains its lock, but please note that no key is present.
Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some tlc. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork ass might be expected and there is an area of beading missing at the front. The fabric lining has some bubbling and marking. There is some movement to the legs, which would benefit from some attention. No key is present for the lock. There is some old woodworm to the back panel - this is not active, but has been retreated as a precaution. There is some mould marking to the back panel.
