A superb freestanding Maple & Co Sheraton revival mahogany and inlaid writing desk. The top having a superstructure with 2 concave falls inlaid with satinwood crossbanding between boxwood and ebony stringing with brass galleries above. The falls lift to reveal 2 stationary compartments which can be pulled out below are 2 small drawers. The writing surface with a replaced hand dyed green leather with gold tooling. The whole raised on square tapering legs with brass casters. Condition is Excellent with working locks and key
