Excellent quality Edwardian Kendrick Jefferson four sectional bookcase made of solid mahogany. The glazed doors on each graduating section lifts up and slide away with ease having original mechanism and knob handles. All sections including cornice and plinth can be lifted off with ease making transporting around easy. A very attractive bookcase with beautiful warm colouring and grain, a perfect addition to home or office. Normal marks / scuffs commensurate with age and use but overall this bookcase is in good sound condition.

John Arthur Kenrick a member of the well-known hardware family in the Birmingham area, formed a partnership with Frederick Thomas Jefferson, a local solicitor. Jefferson developed the printing side of the business, which moved into office equipment, business stationery, loose leaf binders, filing systems and office antique furniture.
