An attractive Edwardian walnut settee. We date this settee to the early 20th century.

The settee sits on six ornately carved legs and shapely stretchers, the seat and backrest are well padded. The armrests have a scroll end with a lovely carved front.

The settee is upholstered in a pale green and cream floral stripe damask type material.

The settee has an overall height of 33" (84cm) with an overall length of 71.5" (182cm) and an overall depth of 27" (69cm). The sofa has a backrest height of 16" (41cm), a seat height of 16" (41cm), a seat width of 67" (170cm) and a seat depth of 23.5" (60cm)

This attractive settee remains in good solid condition with only minor surface marking commensurate with age and usage. There is a little bit of wear to the legs from past use and there is an old repair to one of the stretchers underneath.

This remains a very stylish and elegant settee. It will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
