Edwardian Burr Walnut Glass Coffee Table & Tray
This is an unusual and good quality antique Edwardian burr walnut coffee table with a glass-serving tray, circa 1910.

Description
This is an unusual and good quality antique Edwardian solid walnut coffee table with a glass-serving tray, circa 1910. The table has a detachable glass tray that sits on a rebated base so that it does not slide off the top off the table. The tray features a glass base inset into a refined moulded circular frame with elegant brass handles. Beneath the glass tray is a good quality circular piece of figured burr walnut veneer, which is visible through the glass base. The table sits on elegant cabriole legs, which boast shaped knee at the top, with refined pad feet at the bottom. This table is a truly classic design from the Edwardian period. All in all, this is a very pretty and superb quality table, which is completely original in condition.
The table features a rich mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. This truly is a very beautiful item with quality construction and is original throughout. It is rare to see one in such good condition.
This table would look superb in a variety of rooms from the work place to the home office. The desk would certainly grace any home or office and a great investment, as they are an extremely functional. So don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.
Condition Report
This item is in excellent original condition. The glass tray, mahogany frame and brass handles are intact and sturdy. Importantly, there are no splits or damage to the glass tray. There are nominal old use marks to the leading edges but nothing significant considering the age of the item. This item is solid in joint and ready to use.
