An extremely rare small dish and milk jug designed by Edward Bawden for The New Zealand Shipping Co Ltd. Issued by Wedgwood in 1958 for exclusive use by first class passengers only.One of only 2 designs by Bawden for Wedgwood, the other being Heartsease for The Orient Line.The dish is 11.5cm dia and the jug is 7cm high. No chips, cracks or crazing.Some minor staining to the base of the milk jug and a tiny stain spot on the inside base.
