Circa 1870, interior of a chemists shop from Stockbridge Edinburgh.

The main part comprises of a central area with multiple apothecary drawers with original glass handles. Above there are 4 fluted tapering columns which made the shelving area, finished with a mahogany cornice.

On the left and right are 2 wings which slope away from main bookcase, again with shelving, cornice and apothecary drawers. Below are painted cupboards, and all stands on an enclosed plinth. There are also 2 mirrors for each end.
