Stunning 19th.c. side cabinet c.1860. Exceptional quailty, in ebonised mahogany with beautifully figured amboyna wood panels and satinwood stringing. Further embelished with gilded ormolu mounts and moulding, a pierced brass gallery and porcelain panels in the manner of the great French porcelain manufacturers Sevres. The two large porcelain panels on the central cupboard doors feature hand painted portraits of Marie Antoinette and Madame Elisabeth, the last born sibling of Louis XVI. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied.
