Early Victorian Mourning Brooch Mourning brooch Victorian %%alt5%%
This yellow metal and black mourning brooch has woven hair in the central recess, surrounded by the phrase "In Memory of" and is engraved with the name of the person on the reverse. It reads - B Caddy, July 22nd, 1843 aged 25 years. The hinge is strong and appears to be original. It measures approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". I prefer payment by bank transfer, details on request.
I regret that due to current regulations I am unable to ship ivory items to the United States, even though all items are CITES compliant.
