A good quality library (or writing table) from the early Victorian period. Of good construction in solid mahogany and attractive mahogany veneers. The rectangular top is inset with a sumptuous green writing surface, decorated with gilt tooling. To the front there are two drawers and there are "blind" drawers to the rear , so that this table could be free standing in the center of a room if desired. The trestle-ends are joined by a uniting stretcher, giving strength and rigidity to the whole table. This practical and desirable table is offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
