Early Rare Wemyss Ware Pottery Large Preserve Pot
Early Scottish Wemyss ware preserve or jam pot with original lid. Decorated in Strawberries with green rim decoration.
Impressed mark for Wemyss and blue underglaze mark for T Goode & Co London retailers.
Large Preserve Pot measures 5ins/13cms.
There is some age related staining all around the pot but not so much on the lid price reflects this. But in great condition otherwise.
Alot of staining would probably bleach clean but II havent tried this.
It is in very good Original Condition no chips or cracks just age related glazing.
Collectors item.
