A very nice Oak coffer or Kist with a drawer dated 1663 with the initials MW. Excellent condition the carving is original as are the iron hinges, inside it has a candle box and an unusual feature of two locking slides which would originally have locked the drawer these still work but the wooden pin that located the top edge of the drawer to lock it are lost, it has a good colour.
