Extremely well made copper and wrought iron adjustable music stand or lectern. It features a single book rest panel with decorative scrolling. The top rests on a telescopic copper support and stands on a tripod base with further scroll work and copper flower heads. Adjustable for height and book angle. All the joints are riveted and strapped. In good condition, just one leaf missing at the very bottom seen on image.
Height adjustable between 126cm to 180cm
45cm wide at the bottom widest point. Our stock items are carefully selected by myself and I only buy good quality items which may need small repairs, a clean and a polish. I don't buy any items that need major restoration, but any loose joints are re-glued. Occasionally, some items may have small amounts of historic extinct woodworm, never enough to affect the integrity of the item, and is always treated as a matter of course. We try to describe and show our items the best we can, and we use studio lighting which sometimes lightens the colour slightly on some of the furniture. All lamps are rewired and PAT tested. Every item we sell we would have in our home (some of them have been!!) It is impossible to describe every item fully, so please feel free to email or call for more information or any queries you may have. The items will have no major defects but will show signs of normal age related wear and use. I would prefer the items to show its life rather than strip it and re-polish it, as it's only original once!
