This is a useful country made rustic table. It may have been taller originally or could equally have been made for a specific purpose the way it is now, maybe a luggage stand?
It would certainly make a good coffee table in a cottage or farmhouse setting. A nice warm Georgian Oak colour and original patina. We have oiled and waxed the top so it should have a degree of resilience to marking. A well made (mortise/tenon and dowel joints) rustic country piece
