Early 19th Century Copper kettle
This is a fine quality antique copper kettle. It dates to the early 19th Century.
It has a crisply cast handle with a baluster grip and an equally well formed swan neck spout, both of which are in excellent undamaged condition.
The dovetailed seamed edge to the rear of the kettle is clearly evident, as is the seam around the base.
The inside of the kettle and the lid have remains of a tinned surface, The lid fits well and the knob is original and undamaged.
Overall Condition - very very good, there are some dents to the base, and around the shoulder, but an excellent example of Georgian metal work
