Early 17thC Oak Six Plank Narrow Chest / Coffer sword chest blanket box %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
An extremely attractive early 17th century oak six plank chest of unusually long and narrow proportions, at 132cm long yet just 30cm wide.

The chest boasts an exceptional colour throughout, with an iron lock and iron loop hinges.

As expected with a piece of this age, there are marks and wear commensurate with age. There is some marking to the top, historic worm to the rear board and a historic repair to the left side plank.

A scarce piece.

Dimensions:-

Length: 139cm

Depth: 30cm

Height: 52cm
