A large and heavy Linthorpe Art Pottery pedestal bowl/dish clearly signed by Dr Christopher Dresser. Raised decoration of flowers and foliage to the centre and iridescent glaze to the exterior. Infortunately it does have a tight crack running from the edge for approx 12/13cm (photo 4). A splash of the green iridescent glaze has also spilled over the edge. Fine crazing. 34cm dia and sits 8.5cm high. Still a fabulous studio piece which can be defintely attributed to Dresser.Offers invited.
