Striking Royal Doulton stoneware vase by Violet Hayward and Minnie Webb c1925. Tapered cylindrical body with inverted rim. Stylised floral and foliate tube-lined decoration with early Art Deco influences. Stippled body in tonal blues. The vase is 22.5 cm in height. Incised Royal Doulton mark and artist's monograms: 'hd' for Violet E Hayward and 'MW' for Minnie Webb.
This vase is in excellent original condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. Salt-glazing naturally produced a stippled effect on the finished colour. Please see images as these form an important part of the description. Viewing by appointment only.
