A very impressive and large example of Doulton Lambeth Faience ware. This stunning piece is decorated with bold brush strokes depicting daffodils in a naturalistic style. This accomplished piece was decorated by Doulton Faience artist Mary Butterton between 1873 and 1890. Impressed mark on the base for Lambeth Faience wares and painted monogram for the artist. The vase is in excellent condition and appears to have no signs of restoration there are three minute flea bites in the glaze on the rim but these are not chips in the ceramic and are consistent with age.
