Very handsome mid 19th.c. double sided mahogany desk or library table c.1840. 56" x 37½" top with a single piece tan leather work surface with gilt tooling set within a crossbanded edge. Over three oak lined drawers to both sides. Cockbeaded drawer fronts with brass knobs. Raised on hourglass shaped ends with crisp carved acanthus corbels top and bottom and chaffered plinths on turned bun feet with castors recessed below. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied for the middle drawer on both sides.
