Display Collection of Dartmouth Pottery dartmouth pottery dartmouth antiques
An early collection, Dartmouth Pottery began in 1948, the four pieces in contrasting colours, two in pastel shades, a lustrous red and the white of the swan. All the pieces are stamped Dartmouth underside and there are no chips, cracks or signs of restoration. There is a tear to the presentation box, but the rest remains remarkably in tact. The box reads ‘Dartmouth Pottery, Miniatures, Devon, England.’

To many people Dartmouth Pottery means motto-ware, gurgling jugs and monochrome flower holders. Yet their products were infinitely more diverse, ranging from beautiful art pottery to finely moulded toby jugs and sporting tankards. This miniature collection is testament to that.

A rare find, in original condition, that will only appreciate in monetary value.
