Set of Six Regency Dining Chairs - Turned Leg - c1820

An attractive set of six English Regency mahogany dining chairs.

Classic style for the period offering wide and comfortable seating.

These chairs benefit from triple turned front legs which terminate in a pleasing tapered foot.

The seats have a quality silk cotton covering which is in good order throughout.

The set is in great condition throughout with strong frames and free of any wobble or loose joints. The broad top rails on two chairs have had a light repair at some time in the past visible under close inspection.
They offer comfortable seating and have super seat height of 46cm (18.1").

Overall a very stylish set of English antique chairs suitable for regular use. At nearly 200 years old they are a testament to quality craftsmanship.
