A charming watercolour painting by John White RBA RI (1851-1933) portraying his love of village life in Devon. John White was a landscape. marine and portrait painter who was educated in Australia and studied at the Royal Scottish Academy, moving to Devon around 1890. His work was exhibited extensively at the Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Society of Painters in Oil, Royal Institute of Watercolour Painters. Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists and elsewhere.

This lovely painting is a good size, measuring 21" x 14" (24 cm x 36 cm)
