Derby Tea Bowl and Saucer Pattern No 66 Circa 1786

We have for sale the perfect gift for the collector of early Derby porcelain 18th century Derby tea bowl dating to around 1786.
This lovely Derby porcelain wrythen fluted tea bowl and saucer is decorated in pattern No. 66 dating to around 1786, consisting of a design incorporating a dentil edged gilded rim over a cobalt blue and gold border around embossed blue and gilt fronds radiation out from a plain centre containing a gilt sprig. The overall effect of the pattern is quite stunning. The base of the tea bowl and saucer carry the puce Deusbury marks to the base along with the pattern number 66. The tea Bowl and saucer was acquired from the Anthony Hoyte Collection and the sticker to the base marked 65 indicates it's item number in his collection.
The tea bowl is 2 inches (5.1cm) high and 3.1 inches (8cm) in diameter, whilst the saucer is 5.2 inches (13.3)cm in diameter. Both the tea bowl and saucer are in a very good to excellent condition with minimal surface wear and only very small losses to gilding around the rim.
