Derby Porcelain Coffee Can Pink Ground Ear Handle
A very pretty Derby coffee can with distinctive pointed ear shape handle and baby pink enamel band framed in gilt. Below sites a gilt foliate band and gilt band above the foot. The handle is edged in gilt and has an an ornate garland with stylised hanging bows and beads running across the top and down the back. Red painted mark to the base with pattern number 205 and gilder's number to the edge.
It measures 6.4cm (2 1/2") high to the rim (7cm (2 3/4") to the handle) and 6.7cm (2 5/8") rim to rim.
Condition is very good with no damage or repair. There are two very short glaze lines off the rim and a little random glaze crazing around them. A couple of very tiny marks to the pink and very minor wear to the gilt on the handle. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
