To continue our eagles theme, we are offering this stunning watercolour by the British artist David V. Tuffley, who has signed the painting in the lower right hand corner.

The watercolour depicts a view of the tops of a mountain range, with some snow-capped peaks, with two golden eagles soaring near to the peak in the right foreground. There are two more eagles in the far background. There is mist hanging in the valleys.

We have found a couple of auctions results for watercolours by a D. U. Tuffley on google, but on checking Births, Marriages and Deaths, we can find no D. U. Tuffley, but we did find a David Victor Tuffley 1917-2003, who was born in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and died in Lichfield, Staffordshire, so believe that he is the artist.

The watercolour has been newly double mounted in two tone acid free mountboard and is framed in a very nice 1" gilt frame with pale grey line. It will be supplied wired and ready to hang.
