Country House Butchers Block On Pot Board Base
Great size original country house butchers block with bags of character and a reclaimed pine pot board base with slatted shelf.
One side is well used and has fantastic contours, but if you'd rather a smoother surface, you can use the other side which is pretty much flat and unused.
Great piece to use in your kitchen, but would also work really well as a console or sideboard server.
The condition is good, obviously you have lots of age and use related marks and scuffs, but the frame is solid and ready for heavy use.
Measuring:
31 3/4” or 80.5cm high
48” or 122cm wide
24” or 61cm deep
Floor to under shelf 11 1/4” or 28.5cm high
Shelf to under top 7 7/8” or 20cm Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
