A really lovely Stationary Box in Coromandel with Gilt Brass detail on the domed Top and the Escutcheon , it opens to reveal Blue Moire Silk lining to lid which is also reflected on the edges of each of the White Stationary dividers., majority of which are there except for some of the individual Section separators. The Coromandel is a beautiful colour and is in it's original Polish, which for the most part is perfect except for some minor 'dings'.The Makers Brass Plate is set between the hinges on base and is for Briggs of Piccadilly, London. who were reputed for their high quality items.Please note there are some indications of shrinkage on the veneers on top of Dome but need close inspection to be obvious.Dimensions are:-23CMS Wide x 12 cms Deep x17.5cms High(Max) The base baize is still there with some losses.Please enquire for further photos.C.1860.
