Here we have a wonderful George III Oak and Elm coffer c1780. As you can see the coffer has great colour and patina. This completely original coffer has an Oak plank top with thumb mouled edge. There are solid Elm sides which are constructed with thick dovetail joints. There are original hand forged strap hinges to the inside and a candle or herb box. The chest sits on original well shaped bracket feet. A super chest of lovely proportions in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 124 cm wide 64 cm high and 47 cm deep.
