Here we have a beautiful solid Walnut French coffer c1750. As you can see the chest has exceptional colour and patina. There is a plank top with super grain and colour. The corners are mitred and of pegged construction. The top has a double stepped moulded edge. The original and stunning forged iron hinges are in place. They are designed for no one to break into the chest having the strapwork on the inside of the lid and fixed internally to the back. The original and again beautiful carrying handles are also in place. The rest of the chest also has great colour and is of pegged mortice and tenon construction. A super period chest in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 44 inches wide 18.5 high and 18.5 deep.
