Here we have a wonderful decorative and rare solid Walnut Spanish chest c1700. As you can see there are traces of original paint on the edges and carving. There is a single plank top with super grain and a thumb moulded edge. There are also single planks to the sides, front, rear and base. There are original handles to the sides and original pin and loop hinges to the interior. The carving to the front is exceptional and the whole sits on a plinth base with carved detail and thick chunky dovetail construction. A super period chest in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 53 inches wide 18 deep and 24 high.
