Coffer chest blanket box George I Oak six plank
Here we have a wonderful traditional six plank Oak George I coffer c1720. As you can see the coffer has wonderful colour and patina. The top has super grain and colour with a moulded edge. There is also a single plank to both ends, the base and the back. As you would expect the chest is of simple nailed construction. Internally there is a candle or herb box and the original strap hinges. An excellent example of this type of chest in great condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 48 inches wide 18 deep and 23 high.
