A superb and rare small Oak Coffer Bach from the George III period C.1750 from Camarthanshire / Cardinganshire regions in Wales With Raised And fielded panels to front and sides. A Waisted lower part with two shallow drawers which are sycamore lined. The brass fittings are additions but are of the same period. The top as is the whole has an excellent colour and patina. There are no hinges as the piece relies on oak struts colocate in recesses in the back top rail. The stand is of a later date and suits the coffer well. However this could easily be re moved if so desired.
