A striking and very unusual cocktail shaker in silver plate dating to c.1940.

Just back from our silversmiths workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

The body is smartly decorated with vertical engined turned "stripes" giving it a smart tailored appearance most unusual.

The underside is fully marked for the maker, "De Montfort Silver Plate" together with EPNS (Electro-Plated Nickel Silver) and "Made In England".

Superb condition measuring 3 3/4" in diameter x 7 3/4" tall.
