Large silver plated Lidded ale jug with circular ribbed fixed base insert, foliage and bird decorated exterior, triangular top and well proportioned handle and spout. Lozenge on the bottom reads “Patented by J.A. Stimson 1854 extended for seven years”. Fans, Japanese influence suggests aesthetic movement inspired.
