Arthur Vandyk Antiques are delighted to present for sale this Bizarre range green and black banded Art Deco Clarice Cliff Side hand painted side plate which seems to be a variation of the Liberty Stripe range. The Bizarre backstamp was used between 1930 - 1936, the plate body has an impressed mark for August 1933 dating this plate between 1933 & 1936.

Designer: Clarice Cliff

Age: Circa 1933

Decoration: Hand painted on glaze. Honeyglaze.

Condition report:

Age related wear consistent with age with no chips or cracks but some minor paint loss as well as firing faults evident
