Year of Manufacture: back stamp indicates 1939 -1952 (impressed mark states the pottery body was made in 1939, but the deisgn is likely to have been applied at a later date ).

Dimensions: 23cm/9 inches

Condition Report:

In overall good condition for its age with no evidence of any chips or cracks and some minor crazing on the back of the plate, a few firing faults evident, which is often seen on Clarice Cliff plates as she often used 'seconds' for her designs. There is a slight indentation to one stripe, however this is a fine example indeed, the silver still glints in the light and the green remains bright and vibrant. A classy, subtle and sophisticated piece of twentieth century tableware.
