In 1934 Foley China and Clarice Cliff were asked to produce a range of wares for the Harrods Art in Industry Exhibition. Notable names such as Paul Nash, Laura Knight, Duncan Grant, Graham Sutherland, Gordon Forsyth, Ben Nicholson and Vanessa Bell all produced designs. This plate is by Milner Gray, a key figure of British industrial design.
