An extremely rare \' Tightrope Walker\' 9 inch Circus plate designed by Dame Laura Knight for the 1934 Harrods and 1935 Art in Industry exhibitions. The plate is also a \'First Edition\'.
A truly stunning and rare plate from 1934 and displays beautifully. Immaculate condition with no chips,cracks, crazing hairlines, paint loss or restoration guaranteed. 23cm dia
Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant, Graham Sutherland, Barbara Hepworth and Paul Nash designs were also commissioned for the exhibitions to showcase modern art for the table.
