A rare first edition 8.5 inch x 5.25 inch (21.5 x 13cm) 'Marine' oval plate, commissioned by Clarice Cliff and designed by Dod Procter for the 1934 Harrods 'Modern Art for the Table' Exhibition. Also shown at the Art in Industry Exhibition in 1935. An example is displayed in the V&A Museum.
Fabulous condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. A couple of minute paint scratches to the centre.
