Partially Restored Cincinnati Victor Co. Luminaire Pedestal Fan. Designed By C.D. Ryder and Patented In 1929 For The Cincinnati Victor Co. Of Cincinnati Ohio. This Fan Was Produced In Several Models, This Being The Taller Of Them With Longer Legs and 6 Blades. This Example Has Undergone Some Restoration Of The Finish And Wiring. It Appears As Though Most Of The Body Has Been Coated In A High Shine Lacquer. The Crown That Adorns The Top Of The Fan Appears To Be Of A Different Finish Option And Has Not Been Lacquered. The Breeze Spreaders That Make Up The Guard Do Not Appear To Have Been Lacquered. On The Neck There Are 2 Switches, One For The Fan and One For The Lights, These Appear To Have Been Updated With More Modern Versions. On The Back Of This Neck Is Whats Known As The Coil Cover, These Are Often Missing But Is Present In This Example. To The Right and Left Of The Fan Are The Candle Lights, One Light Has A Split In The Cardboard Sleeve. The Headwire From Neck Switch To Motor Has Been Replaced With A Red Cloth Covered Wire. This Wire Has Been "Secured" With Some Sort Of Vinyl Modern Electrical Wire, Unsure Why.
