Chippendale Style Pedestal Desk
A good quality Edwardian mahogany free standing pedestal desk. The top section with a crisply carved gadrooned edge and inset replaced green leather writing surface which has blind and gold tooling. The front having 8 graduated drawers all with attractive flame mahogany veneers and applied mouldings. The desk has particularly good cast brass ring handles and escutcheons with working locks and keys. The whole stands on bold Chippendale style claw and ball feet and is in superb condition and all mahogany lined. Size:- Width..48''/122cm. Depth..24''/61cm. Height..30''/76.5cm.
