Chippendale Style Mahogany Bijouterie Table Table Bijouterie Display %%alt5%%
Pretty and fine quality Edwardian mahogany bijouterie or display table in Chippendale’s Chinese taste. The lift-up lid has blind fret decoration and opens to reveal a display compartment with faux moiré lined base. The table is raised on four square tapering legs with fret work corner brackets, united by fret work stretchers to an under-tier with elegant open fret gallery.

Width 23” (58cm) Depth 162 (41cm) Height 30” (76cm)

Condition and Details of Restoration
This table is in untouched original structural condition and is completely sound. The original polish has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are a few old marks and scuffs to the polish as might be expected on an item of this age, but certainly nothing major or eye-catching. The faux moiré to the base is a replacement panel.
