Circular Tea Table - Stunning Quarter Veneer - c1880
A fine mahogany English Victorian Chippendale revival circular table presented in superb condition.
With wonderful proportion and superb detailing this attractive table makes a perfect place to present tea, or as a stand-alone feature piece, or a display table for lamps or sculpted art.
The superbly presented upper surface displays wonderful eight section mirrored veneer work. The stunning effect is bordered with a cross-banded outer which leads into the splendid pie crust edge.
The shallow skirt is edged with a lower rail of morse-code relief beading.
The whole rides over extravagant cabriole legs with carved claw and ball feet. The elegant sweep of the legs is enhanced with carved detailing at the upper.
The mahogany displays very well and the whole piece is in superb order and solid throughout. A beautifully balanced table with versatility and style.
