This is a wonderfully characterful Chinese glazed figure of a monkey and infant. The monkey is quite realistically modelled, seated and it's infant is on it's shoulders. This dates from around 1880 and has a rich turquoise glaze to it. The figure is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration and stands 19cms high.
