Chinese reticulated rosewater sprinkler - Kangxi

Chinese underglaze blue reticulated rosewater sprinkler dating from the Kangxi period (1662-1722) -made for the export market. Over time, wealthy people wanted new, bright colours and so this sprinkler was 'clobbered' in red, green and gold enamels- probably in London around 100 years later. The internal vase remains blue and white.
Condition: small amount of restoration has taken place to the cut section.
