Antique Chinese red vellum chest / trunk c1900.
The vellum is in very good condition with only very mirror marks commensurate with its age and usage.
The lock, handles and stiching are in great condition. The base shows usage marks but it is both sound and clean. The lid closes perfectly and easily.
The inside of the chest is in good condition. Would make a great storage box or coffee / side table.
