This is an interesting and unusual antique Chinese barrell form table or container that dates from the latev19th century. The hexagonal barrel table has been constructed from timber panels that have been have been lacquered and beautifully hand painted in attractive colours. The table is a useful size for a lamp or would make a good storage bin or waste basket as it has a practical lift off lid. The piece measures 45 cms high 34 cms wide in the body, the lid being around 27 cms in diameter.
