A really stunning Chinese lacquered cabinet or altar table dating from the late 19th century, circa 1890. The cabinet is beautifully and profusely hand painted and gilded throughout with typical Chinese motifs including entwined dragons, Greek key design, urns and scholars symbols. The back of the cabinet is equally decorative with hand painted detail everywhere. The cabinet has good proportions, measuring 83 cm high, 122 cm wide and 53 cm deep.
